There are two things that are near and dear to my heart- football and writing. When I was six-years-old, I would get out pieces of blank paper and write about my dog and the imaginary journeys he would go on. That’s what sparked my love for writing. I’ve since written four (going on five) full-length novels that I’m hoping to get published some time in the near future.

Football was a more recent discovery. Last year right after I turned thirteen, I sat down with my dad and watched a bit of a 49ers and Saints game. I barely understood anything, and so I had my dad explain the basics. Man, after that, every Sunday was spent on the couch watching the NFL Red Zone. I learned players names, team stats, and became a football fanatic.
When I turned fourteen, I realized my future could combine both things I love; I could become an NFL writer. So I looked up colleges and have started planning for my future. My mom suggested I start early and make a blog where I could write about football and get my novel out into the world. And so The Write Zone was created.
I hope you enjoy my football speculations and my bits of a novel.
See you at the next snap,
Tatum
